Human CGRPR Protein, mFc Tag PME101376
Specifications
| 10µg / 50µg / 100µg |
Alternative names:
CRLR; CALCRL; LMPHM8
Description:
Recombinant human CGRPR Protein with C-terminal mouse Fc tag
Background:
Enables adrenomedullin binding activity; adrenomedullin receptor activity; and calcitonin gene-related peptide receptor activity. Involved in several processes, including G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway; cellular response to sucrose stimulus; and receptor internalization. Located in endoplasmic reticulum; endosome; and lysosome. Part of CGRP receptor complex and adrenomedullin receptor complex. Colocalizes with plasma membrane. Implicated in hereditary lymphedema. Molecular characterization:
CGRPR(Glu23-Asn140) mFc(Pro99-Lys330)
Molecular weight:
The protein has a predicted molecular mass of 40.0 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of CGRPR-mFc is approximately 35-70 kDa due to glycosylation.
Tag:
C-mouse Fc tag
Expression host:
HEK293
Target:
CGRPR
Purity:
The purity of the protein is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining.
Formulation / Reconstitution:
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 5 % - 8% trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization. Please see Certificate of Analysis for specific instructions.
Storage:
Store at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -80°C (Avoid repeated freezing and thawing). Lyophilized proteins are shipped at ambient temperature.
